Novak Djokovic Fights Through Anderson's Flying Missiles

It took Novak Djokovic over two 2 sets to get hold of Kevin Anderson's serving missiles as both first two sets were won by Anderson in tie-break.  It just seemed impossible for anyone to break Kevin until 3rd set and 4th Novak finally found the answer.  And as the match seemed to have definitely bounced back to Djokovic, the dark fell on Wimbledon and the game was postponed for another day.
Another day on Wimbledon started two players where they started their game a day before, with powerful serves winning 10 of first 12 points.  And it was obvious that the advantage and momentum Djokovic created the day before have all disappeared and that the game was right where it started.  Except, the fifth set in Wimbledon cannot be won in a tie-break, so we were all set to watch some monumental continuation that some hoped would go for who knows how long.  But nothing of that happened as Nole took Anderson’s 6th game and drove it home for 7:5 win in the last set.

The match in all was certainly a demonstration of power servers that dominated the whole   5 sets, but it was not enough for Anderson’s 30+ aces to give him a win.

Victor Troicki ends Dustin Brown's Fantastic Wimbledon 2015 Run

Dustin Brown played some of the nicest tennis during Wimbledon 2015, and a lot of people are sorry to see him go after Victor Troicki superbly has beat him 3:1.  Brown swiftly became favorite of the crowd not because he beat crowds favorite Rafael Nadal, but because of his capability to make incredible plays.  People love to see that kind of tennis being played and were cheering for him.  But Troicki had his day in the sun and was making incredible plays himself as well.  He made some awesome pass shots which neutralized offensively minded Brown on the net.

Victor Troicki from Serbia is having a great season, and if he continues to roll like this, we should see him close in on top 10 players in the rankings before the year is over.

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer Wimbledon Update

Roger Federer continues to make amazing plays on this year's Wimbledon:

While Rafael Nadal seem unable to regain his old form as he loses to 102nd ranked Dustin Brown:

More about this incredible young player who was born in Germany but has Jamiacan father: Dustin Brown (born December 8, 1984, Celle)[1] is a German professional tennis player. Brown competes mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour, both in singles and doubles. He reached his highest ATP singles ranking of World No. 78 in June 2014 and his highest doubles ranking of World No. 43 in May 2012.[2][3] He is one of only a few players to have a winning record against the 14 time major champion and former No. 1 Rafael Nadal, having beaten him on more than one occasion with both of his wins coming on grass at the 2014 Gerry Weber Open and the 2015 Wimbledon Championships.

2012 Brown had his best year yet in 2012, reaching three doubles finals and winning a second ATP title. He teamed with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to reach the final in Marseille, where they lost to Nicolas Mahut and Édouard Roger-Vasselin. He won the Casablanca doubles title with Paul Hanley, defeating Italians Daniele Bracciali and Fabio Fognini in the final. Again with Hanley, he was runner-up in Kitzbühel.

2013 He qualified for Wimbledon in singles where he defeated world No. 67, Guillermo García-López, in the first round, and the 2002 Wimbledon Champion and former world No. 1, Lleyton Hewitt, in four sets, in the second round.

2014 Brown volleying during his second round match at the 2015 Wimbledon qualifying tournament In spite of losing in the 1st round at Roland Garros to Australian Marinko Matosevic, he recorded a famous straight sets victory over Rafael Nadal in his native Germany, at the Gerry Weber open in Halle. He also lost to Marcos Baghdatis at Wimbledon, and Bernard Tomic at the US Open — both in the first round. 2015 Brown began his season in Doha where he recorded victories over Paolo Lorenzi and Jan-Lennard Struff. A loss to David Ferrer in the quarterfinals would end his run in Doha. Two weeks later Brown competed at the Australian Open but was defeated by 10th seed Grigor Dimitrov in the first round. At Wimbledon Brown came through qualifying without dropping a set. After beating Yen-hsun Lu in the first round, Brown then went on to play arguably the match of his career and beat 10th seed Rafael Nadal in four sets in the second round.[14] By beating Nadal, he became the first qualifier to ever defeat Nadal at a Grand Slam event.
